The Agora Project

The genesis of the Agora Project is a book: Guided Evolution of Society: A Systems View, authored by Bela H. Banathy, and published by Kluwer Academic/Plenum Publishers (2000). The Project fosters and nurtures the establishment of future creating evolutionary communities. The development of the book was preceded by several years of intensive research. The Project has been tested by the research meetings of the International Systems Institute,and several Research Seminars of the Saybrook
Graduate School and Research Center. The operational program of the Project is called metaphorically "21st Century Agoras" and is organized at three levels: Local Agoras who engage in the design of their futures. Agora Stewardship Teams, who provide resources and guidance to Local Agoras, and
organizations, associations, who link up for the Advancement of Conscious Evolution.This website "serves as rudimentary information system and knowledge base for the New Agoras."
