I found this picture of you just wonderful when I saw it a few months ago. It is something like music, flows so naturally. When I was last in Puerto Rico I met a Spanish writer who had just published a book on the essence of creativity. The idea that I especially liked was the transparency of creativity, that is, when in the space of creativity, what takes precedence over every sense, is the pure creative act, everything else simply vanishes from sensory view. In a great musical recital what one experiences is solely the sublime music, the stage vanishes, the musicians vanish, the room itself vanishes, nothing remains for the mind to contemplate but the pure creative act of making music, which occupies the brain utterly.

In the dialogue attended in your picture, we see the merging of minds into community wisdom, flowing together like a musical score. You convey this musicality in your hand inviting the participant to convey his idea to the group mind unfolding.

Funds

The Institute requires funds to effectively spread agoras. It seeks to acquire those funds in two ways:

  • Conducting Co-Laboratories for paying clients and using the income derived to fund or subsidize other Co-Laboratories for organizations that would otherwise lack sufficient funds. Our current Co-Laboratories on Invasive Species with the U.S. Department of Agriculture are an example of this strategy.
  • Soliciting funds from foundations and individuals that will enable the Institute to accomplish its ambitious goals. The following proposal expresses those goals, outlines the strategy, and indicates its expense
